Our Wedding-
Andrew proposed to me on our third anniversary. Our very first date was at a Barnes and Noble/Starbucks and ever since it has been tradition to return and walk about the store, coffee in hand, like we did that very first night. The day he asked me to marry him was a bit more special. Two months earlier we welcomed our baby girl, Audrey, into the world. She was witness to Andrew bending on one knee (pretending to look at a book on the bottom shelf in the children's book section) and telling me, "Hey! Come look at this!" He pulled out my ring and with the absolute biggest smile on my face, I wrapped my arms around him. Even now recalling that moment I can feel myself getting choked up. So, when he asked if that meant "yes," I'm not sure I could squeak out anything beyond a very vigorous head nod. Needless to say, we're all very, very, very happy!!!

Engaged!
July 16th, 2010-
Andrew, Audrey and I went to check out "The Farm." Out of all the venues we've talked about this seems to keep coming up. I love that it's kid friendly and easy going. Little did Andrew know that when he suggested Anderson Farm's a year ago that we'd actually be taking it seriously!

Rocky Mountain Bridal Show here we come!
August 27th, 2010-
Well, It's official! I think it was the week after we visited we decided on Anderson Farms! The contract has been signed and the deposit has been paid. Though, today's news is actually that I've begun to work on the map design for the invitations and reception. P.S. We ended up going with Andrew's goat! :)
September 21st, 2010-
Our Save the Dates have been printed, and now we just have to check with the post office to see 1. If we can do a "scalloped" edge and 2. How much postage will actually be.
September 29th, 2010-
Well, we didn't go to the post office. Instead we sent out a Save the Date to each of the folks to see if it would actually make it...and we had SUCCESS! We've already sent out two groups of about 3-5 postcards. I'm afraid if we get overly ambitious the post office might catch on ;). Another group is going out today and after that, I think we've only got 2 more groups to go! So...guess we get back to work on the map and the rest of the invitation.
October 6th, 2010-
Today we're attempting to dye favor bags. I'm not sure the material is going to take well, but we're trying it anyways!! In other news, we're looking into buying cornstalks and we've sent all our save the dates! Progress is wonderful...
