Yarn-The Second (Last updated Nov. 2010)
As the holidays approach I've taken to more knitting! As you can see, my daughter is proudly sporting her new scarf (we pledge allegiance to the Colorado Rockies). Just in time too, we had our first snow on Tuesday!
My goal is to get 6 more scarves knitted by Christmas...I've got one in the making right now, about half way done.
Today's November 12th. Let the count down begin!!!
Dec. 1st, 2010-
I've completed 3 and I'm halfway through the 4th scarf. I've discovered I've gotten super quick at regular knitting...although when I have to count rows, it's best to do it when I'm not sleepy or distracted! :) The newest pattern I've taken a liking to is k2, p1*, k1...*repeat until last 2...k2....I really like it, but man, is it taking me forever! My goal of 6 scarves knitted by Christmas should be reachable (that is if we count the cat scarf I knitted to match the red and yellow pictured above).
:) Here's hoping....
